Costa Rica Elopement Packages

All-inclusive photography experiences for couples eloping in Costa Rica, from beaches and waterfalls to jungles and volcanoes

These packages are designed for couples who want a meaningful elopement without the stress of planning from afar. As Costa Rica elopement photographer, I combine documentary and editorial photography with local guidance, so your day feels natural, intentional, and fully supported from start to finish.

Imagine starting the morning in the mist of a cloud forest, exchanging vows beside a waterfall, and ending the day barefoot on a Pacific beach as the sun disappears into the ocean.

Eloping to Costa Rica

How your Costa Rica elopement comes together

Every elopement starts with a conversation. We talk about your relationship, your vision, and what kind of experience feels right for you. You don’t need to have a plan yet. Most couples don’t.

From there, I help shape the day with location ideas, timeline guidance, and local insight based on real conditions in Costa Rica. Everything stays flexible, adapting to light, weather, and the pace that feels natural to you.

On your elopement day, my role is simple: guide when needed, step back when not, and document the experience honestly as it unfolds.

Meeting your Costa Rica Elopement Photographer

As a Costa Rica-based photographer, I’ve photographed elopements across beaches, waterfalls, and volcano regions. Understanding how light moves through these environments and how weather shifts during the day allows me to design timelines that actually work here.

I don’t just show up with a camera on your elopement day. I help shape the experience from the very beginning so that when the day arrives, it feels familiar, grounded, and easy.

As a Costa Rica elopement photographer, I document your day with a documentary and editorial approach. That means focusing on real interactions, atmosphere, and the small moments that carry emotional weight, not forced poses or manufactured scenes.

Because I’m based in Costa Rica, I also act as a local guide for couples planning from abroad. I help translate ideas into real locations, adjust timelines to light and weather, and navigate the practical details that can feel overwhelming when you’re not on the ground here.

You stay in control of how your elopement looks and feels. I stay responsible for making sure it flows naturally and is documented with intention.

PRICING TRANSPARENCY

Why an all-inclusive elopement package matters

Planning an elopement in Costa Rica from abroad can feel simple on the surface, but once you start looking into locations, permits, travel logistics, and timing, the details add up quickly.

That’s why my elopement packages are fully all-inclusive. Instead of separating photography, travel fees, planning time, and permits into hidden or unexpected costs, everything related to my role is included from the start.

This means:

  • No surprise travel fees depending on location

  • No extra costs for planning calls or timeline revisions

  • No last-minute permit issues or location restrictions

  • No stress around coordinating details you’re unfamiliar with

Whether your elopement takes place on a beach in Guanacaste, near a waterfall in the rainforest, or close to Arenal Volcano, the price remains clear and consistent.

The only additional expenses you’ll need to plan for separately are your own travel, accommodation, and any third-party services you choose to add, such as an officiant, hair and makeup, or florals.

The goal is simple: you focus on being present for your elopement, while I handle the logistics and documentation with clarity and care.

Costa Rica Elopement Packages

Each elopement package is built around experience, not hours on a clock. Coverage is flexible, intentional, and shaped around how your day naturally unfolds rather than forcing it into a rigid structure.

All packages include photography as the foundation, with planning support and logistics handled from start to finish.

Full-Day Elopement Experiences

Designed for couples who want to slow down, explore, and fully immerse themselves in Costa Rica.

Ideal if you want:

  • More than one meaningful location

  • A relaxed pace without rushing

  • Time for adventure, quiet moments, and connection

Why most couples choose a full-day elopement

Eloping in Costa Rica isn’t just about the ceremony. It’s about the experience of the day.

Instead of rushing through a few hours of photos, a full-day elopement allows the story to unfold naturally. Time to explore, pause for lunch, move between landscapes, and experience the country together rather than simply posing in it.

Many couples begin their day in the rainforest or near a waterfall and end it watching the sunset on the Pacific coast. Others spend the entire day immersed in a single landscape, moving slowly through the jungle, cloud forest, or volcanic scenery.

The result is a wedding day that feels less like an event and more like an adventure you experienced together.

Example Elopement Timeline

Two-Location Elopement

Waterfall morning + beach sunset

One of the most loved elopement experiences in Costa Rica combines two completely different landscapes in a single day.

Morning – Rainforest & waterfall

The day begins in the jungle. You get ready at a nearby lodge before heading to a waterfall for an intimate ceremony surrounded by rainforest and rushing water.

Afterwards we explore nearby trails and capture the quiet moments that follow the vows.

Midday – Journey to the coast

We take a relaxed drive toward the Pacific. The scenery gradually shifts from dense jungle to open coastline.

Afternoon – Time at the beach

At the beach the atmosphere changes. Shoes off, wind in your hair, walking the shoreline and exploring hidden coves while the afternoon light softens.

Sunset – Ending by the ocean

The day closes with sunset over the Pacific. Golden light, waves rolling in, and the feeling of having spent your wedding day moving from rainforest to ocean.

Example Elopement Timeline

Single Location Full-Day Elopement

Slow, immersive experience in one landscape

Morning – Getting ready in the jungle

The day begins quietly at your hotel or eco-lodge. Coffee on the balcony, rainforest sounds in the background. I document the small moments while you get ready.

Late morning – Waterfall ceremony

We head to the waterfall trail where you exchange vows surrounded by the rainforest. Afterwards we explore the area naturally, taking photos while the moment settles in.

Midday – Lunch and a pause

We take a relaxed break for lunch. Time to breathe, talk, and enjoy the feeling of having just been married.

Afternoon – Exploring the forest

Later we explore jungle trails, suspension bridges, or volcanic viewpoints. This part of the day feels more like wandering through Costa Rica together than a traditional photoshoot.

Sunset – Final moments

We end the day at a scenic overlook as the light softens over the forest and volcano. The last images happen naturally while the sun disappears behind the mountains.

Included with both full-day packages

  • Documentary-style highlight video (3–5 minutes)

  • Natural audio from your ceremony and surroundings

  • Simple, honest editing that complements your photos

Frequently asked questions About Costa Rica Elopement

Important information to Elope to Costa Rica

We understand planning an elopement can come with many questions. Here are some answers to help guide you.

How far in advance should we book our Costa Rica elopement?
Most couples book between 6 and 12 months in advance, especially for full-day elopements or popular locations. That said, Costa Rica elopements can also come together quickly if dates and locations are flexible.

Do you help us choose the best location in Costa Rica?
Yes. Once I understand what you’re drawn to, I suggest locations based on scenery, accessibility, privacy, season, and light. I also advise on permits and what’s realistically possible for your date.

Are permits included in the elopement packages?
Yes. If your chosen location requires a permit, I take care of the process and include my permit costs in the package. Any park or location fees charged directly by the government are always discussed in advance.

What happens if it rains on our elopement day?
Rain is part of Costa Rica, especially during green season. I plan timelines and locations with flexibility built in, and we adapt as needed. Some of the most emotional and cinematic elopements happen in rain.

Can we include family or friends?
Absolutely. Most elopements include anywhere from just the two of you up to around 20 guests. I’ll help you choose locations and timelines that work comfortably for your group size.

Do you pose couples during elopements?
I offer gentle guidance when needed, but I don’t stage moments. The focus is on real connection and natural movement so your photos feel honest and true to how the day unfolded.

Do you photograph elopements outside Costa Rica?
Yes. I also photograph destination elopements in Europe and beyond. If you’re considering multiple locations, I’m happy to talk through what makes the most sense.

What’s the next step if we want to move forward?
The next step is a consultation call. We’ll talk through your ideas, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit before making any decisions.

Ready to plan your Costa Rica elopement?

Most couples who reach out don’t have everything figured out yet. That’s completely normal. You might have a feeling, a rough date, or just the sense that Costa Rica is where this should happen.

My role is to help you turn that idea into a clear, grounded plan and document the experience as it naturally unfolds.

If you’re looking for a Costa Rica elopement photographer who understands the country, the light, and the pace these days deserve, I’d love to hear what you’re envisioning.
