Be present. I’ll take care of the photography.

I’m Christopher, the photographer behind Crissorama. I photograph destination weddings across Costa Rica and Barcelona with a documentary approach that’s calm, observant, and gently directed when you need it.

You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to spend your wedding day performing for the camera. I’ll step in when a little direction helps, and disappear when the moment matters more than the photograph.

The goal is simple: to help you feel like yourselves, enjoy your people, and forget about the camera while I’m there making sure nothing important is missed.

Some stories become photographs.
Some become films.
Some live in voices, movement, grain, light, and memory.

But first, it should feel like your wedding.

Which kind of wedding are you planning?

For weddings that deserve to be remembered in more than one way.

A wedding archive, not just coverage.

A wedding is not only a timeline of events.

It is the way the room feels before the ceremony. The voices during the vows. The movement of people gathering around a table. The quiet relief after everything becomes real. The landscape, the light, the music, the texture of the day.

I preserve those pieces through still images, motion, analog film, Super 8, sound, and printed objects, creating a record that feels complete without turning the wedding into a production.

Destination Weddings in Costa Rica and Europe

Look closer. Every wedding holds a secret story beneath the surface. It lives in the tension, the relief, and the quiet way two people find each other in the crowd.

Photojournalism for Love Stories

A real moment

Kelsey and Colin planned every detail, but they didn’t plan for the sudden breeze that swept her veil just as he turned around. That unguarded wonder became their favorite image. I find the moments you didn’t plan, wherever your story takes you.

The quiet moments matter most.

Film, texture, and the beauty of imperfection.

I use 35mm, medium format, and Super 8 not only for nostalgia, but because film asks for a slower way of seeing.

It notices light differently. It holds movement differently. It gives memory a texture that feels less polished and more alive.

The result is imagery that feels cinematic and unmistakably yours.
