Photography Services in Costa Rica

Weddings ยท Elopements ยท Proposals ยท Family Sessions

Documentary and editorial photography for weddings, elopements, surprise proposals and family sessions across Costa Rica. Choose the experience that fits what you are planning.

ONE APPROACH ยท DIFFERENT STORIES

Start with what
you are celebrating.

A wedding and a family morning on the beach do not need the same kind of coverage. What stays consistent is the way I work: observe first, guide when useful, and make photographs that still feel like your experience.

This page is a simple map of the photography services I offer across Costa Rica. Each service leads to its own galleries, planning information and pricing where relevant.

Costa Rica destination wedding photography

01 / WEDDINGS

Let the wedding
be a wedding.

For destination weddings, intimate celebrations and multi-day gatherings across Costa Rica. Coverage blends documentary observation with editorial guidance when portraits, light or timing need a little direction.

Best for: couples who want the people, atmosphere and full rhythm of the celebration, not only a sequence of posed highlights.

02 / ELOPEMENTS

Small in scale.
Not in meaning.

Elopement photography for two people or intimate groups, with help choosing locations, understanding light, building a realistic timeline and making room for the landscape without turning the day into a photo shoot.

Best for: waterfalls, cloud forest, volcano, rainforest and beach experiences where the place is part of the story.

03 / PROPOSALS

The surprise should
still feel like yours.

Surprise proposal and engagement photography with practical help on location, timing, privacy and where I need to be so the moment can happen naturally.

Best for: travelers planning a proposal in Costa Rica who need local knowledge before they ever step in front of the camera.

04 / FAMILY

Your trip is already
the occasion.

Relaxed family photography for vacations, reunions, anniversaries and time together in Costa Rica. The session is built around movement, connection and the place you came to enjoy, rather than a long list of poses.

Best for: families who want photographs that feel like a memory of the trip, not a studio session moved outdoors.

A SECOND LANGUAGE

Digital clarity.
Analog memory.

35mm film, medium format and Super 8 can be woven into wedding and elopement coverage. Film is not a filter added later. It changes the pace, texture and way a moment is recorded.

DOCUMENTARY INSTINCT ยท EDITORIAL RESTRAINT

Present first.
Photographed second.

I have photographed weddings and people in Costa Rica for more than 18 years. Knowing the country matters: tropical light changes quickly, rain can redraw a timeline, and the best photograph is often somewhere between the plan and what actually happens.

I work quietly when a moment belongs to you and step in when direction makes the experience easier. The goal is not to manufacture a version of the day. It is to notice it well.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

From coast
to cloud forest.

I photograph throughout Costa Rica, including Guanacaste and Papagayo, Tamarindo and Las Catalinas, Nosara and Santa Teresa, Arenal and La Fortuna, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, Dominical and Uvita, the Central Valley and the Caribbean coast.

The useful part of local experience is not simply knowing beautiful places. It is knowing how weather, access, travel time, crowds and changing light affect the experience once you are there.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Tell me what
you are planning.

You do not need to know exactly what kind of coverage you need. Tell me the date, where you will be in Costa Rica and what you want to remember. I will point you toward the service that makes sense.
