What I love about beach weddings photos in Costa Rica? The light is constantly changing, the environment keeps everyone present, and couples always, always, let their guard down faster than at traditional venues.

The Pacific coast gives you consistent golden hour magic, especially December through April. I’ve photographed countless Tamarindo sunsets (they never get old), intimate Playa Flamingo ceremonies, and Playa Conchal’s white sand perfection.
One couple last year told me they chose Tamarindo specifically because they wanted “that postcard sunset everyone dreams about”, and we delivered exactly that.

The Caribbean side is where my adventurous couples go. Think Puerto Viejo’s bohemian vibe, black volcanic sand beaches, and that lush jungle-meets-turquoise-water contrast you can’t find on the Pacific.

I once photographed a ceremony where howler monkeys provided the “music” during vows,the couple laughed through the entire thing, and those photos are some of my favorites ever. That’s Caribbean coast energy: unexpected, wild, authentic.
