You don’t need to perform for the camera. I work quietly, following the people, the conversations and the unexpected moments as they happen.
I pay attention to more than how the day looks. The quiet before your ceremony. Wind moving through dinner tables. Someone laughing just outside the frame. Your film should bring you back to the people and the atmosphere you remember.
01 · Before the wedding

We begin with a conversation about who you are, the people closest to you and what matters most. As the plans develop, we make space for the light, the sound and the moments you want to live fully.
02 · During the celebration
Room to be yourselves.
I observe first and interrupt as little as possible. Natural light, a minimal setup and handheld movement let me stay close to the story. Quiet moments can stay quiet. When the energy changes, the film moves with it.
03 · In the edit
A film with your own rhythm.
I edit every film personally, bringing together voices, music, silence and movement. The pace comes from your celebration, with room for both the small gestures and the loud, joyful moments.
Digital cinema + Super 8
A little texture.
A lot of feeling.
Digital holds the voices, details and movement clearly. Super 8 brings its own grain, flicker and response to light. I use it selectively, where that softer texture belongs in the story.
Super 8 is included in the two-day and weekend collections below, and can be discussed as an addition to a single-day collection.

A few practical things
Before we begin.
We’re awkward in front of cameras. Will you direct us all day?
Most of the celebration unfolds with very little direction. I observe what’s happening and offer gentle guidance when it helps, while leaving you space to be with your people.
How do we choose the right collection?
We look at your events, locations, timeline and the films you want to receive. A small one-location celebration may suit Intimate Story. A larger wedding with simultaneous preparations benefits from a second filmmaker. Extra days preserve the welcome and farewell chapters.
Can you photograph and film the wedding?
When I’m photographing your wedding, photography is my main focus. When I’m filming, filmmaking has that same attention. We can also discuss a hybrid approach and find a balance of photography and film that makes sense for your celebration.
Is Super 8 included?
Super 8 sequences are included in Two-Day Story and a separate Super 8 mini film in Weekend Archive. It can also be discussed as an addition to the single-day collections.
When will we receive the films?
You’ll receive a teaser in the first week and final films in around 4 to 8 weeks for a single-day celebration. Multi-day films may take longer. Your delivery schedule will be confirmed with your collection.
Do you travel across Costa Rica?
Travel within Costa Rica is included in these collections. Tell me your locations and event plans so we can agree on the practical details.
