How far in advance do you need to plan an elopement in Costa Rica? Twelve months is a nice sweet spot for planning an elopement, though you can technically  plan one in 30 days. For Costa Rica specifically, 2-3 months is ideal to secure your preferred Elopement photographer and dates, though 3-6 months in advance is better for peak season (December-April) or if you have specific date requirements.

One of the benefits of eloping is flexibility, you avoid the “book a year in advance” pressure of traditional weddings.
