Nayara Resorts no longer hosts weddings. They have stopped taking wedding bookings entirely. If you found them on a list of Costa Rica wedding venues, that list is out of date.

Dreams Las Mareas closed in mid-2025. The property is being converted into a JW Marriott All-Inclusive. Couples with dates booked there were relocated.

The Westin Reserva Conchal is booked out through May 2027. If you want peak season there, you are realistically looking at 2028.

The dollar buys less than it used to. The colón has gone from around 647 to the dollar in 2022 to around 454 in August 2026. A vendor who has not raised their colón price at all is still close to 40 percent more expensive in dollars than they were three years ago.
